Computer Vision www.reddit.com

I am fairly new to computer vision related projects and I am working on a personal project where I need to differentiate between 2 cats which look similar in color in color but have some differences in their coat pattern.
The view is a top down view so a pre-trained Haar Cascade openCV did not make sense since they are all for cat faces. I am not sure how to approach this problem. Any insights would be helpful.
