I have a BSc in stats but it's been many years since I took the math requirements for that degree, and I was not the best student. I want to brush up on those areas and fix any gaps I might have in my understanding of the underlying math but with concrete and/or DS examples if possible.

Anyone have book recommendations that have good examples I can work through to check my understanding as well?
