Have any of you gotten to use multi arm bandits or any “modern” techniques for experimental design?

There’s a vast literature on algorithmic approaches to experimental design, such as online multi arm bandits to estimate treatment effects for marketing or A/B testing. Similarly there’s also cases of Bayesian optimization being used as well. Meta has a whole range of research going on regarding this.

I was wondering if any of you have been able to work in an environment where these modern experimental design techniques are leveraged in your company
