We make all sorts of interactive systems that use cameras, mostly Intel RealSense but sometimes also Kinect or other USB cameras.
These systems are almost always unattended and need to be reliable as possible.
The problem is that sometimes USB cameras just don't work. It's hard to say why, because it happens only rarely. For example, today one of the systems booted up and the Intel Realsense was not detected. Someone had to open up the kiosk and …
