Interpreting a model that generates heatmap output

I want to interpret my model using "vanilla gradients" or "Grad-CAM". The output of my model is like a heatmap, where each pixel has a value between 0 and 1. I would like to incorporate these techniques into my model. How can I do that? The majority of examples I saw on the internet were implemented for classification tasks.
I do not have any experience with these techniques.
I appreciate any help.
