Learning Cloud Platforms

I am currently doing some side work for a client that requires creating custom apis and having them run on a server. I am doing it in Google Console. But I noticed that there are so many different features within google console, I was curious if this is essentially a data engineer's life. Learning the the ins and outs of AWS/Azure/GCS.
