I recently started a PhD in computer vision in Florida and my PhD advisor told me to pick anything I like and work on it. He does not have specific projects in mind at the moment. If you were me, what problems would you choose to work on? Something the field needs more development in and exploring? I am new in this field and do not have much exposure. Something that would help me in a career later …
