[P] Trying to calculate semantic difference of words.

I am working on a project, I have a list of target words, and need to calculate the difference of meaning between these words and new words. It is mostly a word similarity task.


Say, the target word is "car", the model need to output high value for "dog" and low value for "Jeep"; or vice versa. Currently I am using huggingface's sentence transformer library for this, and (1-Cosine Similarity) as difference score. But the performance is not up to …
