RTX 2060 12GB or RTX 3060 12GB for machine learning

I am looking to buy either one of these cards due to their VRAM size and price. I cannot afford the RTX 3080 12GB or 3080 Ti 12GB. I am not sure if going for GPU with 8GB VRAM is a good idea either. There is RTX 3060 Ti, 3070, 3070 Ti within my budget.
