I'm currently a year into being a part of a small analytics team at a large and antiquated retail company. My manager and teammates are completely business-facing with minimal technical knowledge. Speaking to some higher ups and other functional teams, I realize there's a huge cap in data needs and people who can manage simple data workflow, such as getting the data, cleaning & exporting it, and creating dashboards.
