Support Vector Machine projects

I’m starting a ML club at my community college to help myself and others get hands on experience. Keeping in mind that most of us won’t have upper division comp sci nor math courses I was wondering if anyone here knew of resources that teaches someone a simple SVM step by step. Doesn’t have to be anything fancy nor complex, just trying to build the club to get cc students started. Ps open to suggestions for other ML topics if …
