Maybe anyone has faced this issue before, I am investigating if there are clusters of users based on number of particular actions they took. Users have different lifespans in the system so time series have variable lengths, in addition some users only take certain actions which uncorrelated with their time spent in the system. I am looking at Dynamic Time Warping, but the problem of short time series for some users and sparse feature makes it seem like inappropriate solution. …
