Our lab has recently been exploring AI-generated image detection, specifically distinguishing whether an image is real or AI-generated. We made an interesting discovery: by extracting high-frequency noise information using SRM from the simplest patch found in the image and feeding it into a binary classifier, excellent results can be achieved.
