Applying for Master in Data Science with limited programming experience

I am an incoming senior student majoring in Economics and Mathematics and I am planning to pursue a master degree in data science or financial engineering. I have taken calculus, linear algebra, probability, statistics, ordinary differential equation, and real analysis, which should be enough to fulfill the math requirement for the program.
