Is Computer Vision still that popular?

I managed to get an offer for a Computer Vision job as a 18 yo student but lately I see more and more vacancies are published for NLP / RecSys positions. Even some of the top companies in my city hire predominately for these two subfields (it's not always been like that, but this is what I've been observing for the past 1.5 years).
