Light User Retention App - Framework for passing parameters into a SQL query via a front end UI/dash/interactive-chart?

What's a good framework for running a heavy SQL (ideally BigQuery) query on the SQL server side - so not having to worry about any python or R bigdata framework issues - yet having the flexibity of interactively changing the where clause parameters? I was thinking of building a light internal app for this (my coding skillset is R, Python, SQL). Would you recommend exploring Streamlit or RShiny for something like this?
