Researchers at Gartnavel General Hospital in Glasgow have developed a machine learning model that accurately predicts inpatient hypoglycemic events using capillary blood glucose (CBG) measurements. The model, which focuses solely on CBG data, showed excellent performance in identifying patients at risk for hypoglycemia.
