Rubik's Cube Square Detection

Hello everyone,

I am trying to detect the 9 squares of a face of a Rubik’s Cube through a camera. The idea is that I want to use my computer camera and tell the user to show all the Rubik’s Cube faces and read the faces so I can feed it to a solver.

Here are the steps I have tried so far:

1. Sharpened square edges
2. Obtained binary image and removed noise
3. Detected and extracted squares
