What career path to choose?

Hi! I have this dilemma right now. I'm currently working as a Computer Vision engineer in my company. Unfortunately, the majority of my tasks do not include any Computer vision, and it's often some code tasks or creating algorithms of how to automatically control robot with PID controllers and stuff.
